Most activities
operate daily from approximately the beginning of July through Labor Day. There are Free
Guided Nature Hikes from the top of the American Eagle Lift by the
U.S. Forest Service at 11:00 AM & 1:30 PM. Mountain Bike
Hauls up the American Eagle Lift require a
fee and a helmet. Copper has a Quad Power Bungee Jump located next to American Eagle lift. A popular addition to the
New Village located between Copper One Lodge and Tucker Mountain Lodge
is the Climbing Wall with a water fall. The Village is a popular
connecting point for cycling between Summit County and the town of
Vail. Copper Mountain stables offer horseback trail rides as
well as pony rides in a corral. Fly fishing along Ten Mile Creek
is a relaxing way to past the time of day. During the summer you will be able to enjoy fishing from
the wharf or take a row boat ride. There are activities for
children and village animation and outdoor concerts to entertain guests. And finally
there is golf over the
highest elevation championship golf course in North America. |
